Appointments for any site are made through our main office at 38 Myers Street Bendigo (Cnr. Myer and Mundy Sts).   All new patients are requested to be seen through our Bendigo rooms for the first visit.  Any follow up can then be done through our out of town sites.

Limited free car parking is available including disabled car parking on-site, along with time-restricted street parking.  We are situated close to the Bendigo Railway Station and Bus Terminal.

REFERRALS:

Referrals may be faxed, emailed or mailed through by your doctor to our clinic.  If your doctor has given you the referral to make your appointment it can be uploaded on our website, faxed, dropped into our clinic or sent to us by mail.  All patients attending are required by Medicare to have a current referral.

All referrals are reviewed by one of our Urological Consultants and an appointment is then made according to urgency. Both consultants and nurse practitioners have different areas of expertise and the referral can be redirected to the particular consultant with the specialist sub-interest. This is done in order for you to receive the optimal care.  As part of our consulting our Nurse Practitioner David Heath or Jana Middlemis may initially assess you before seeing A/Prof Brennan or Dr Todd Manning.

The registration form can either be downloaded or filled out online.  It must be completed and returned to Goldfields Urology prior to confirm your appointment or your appointment may be cancelled.

PAYMENT:

Payment IN FULL is required on the day, via cash, personal cheque, credit card or EFTPOS.  Your visit will be claimed on your behalf through Medicare at the time of payment with the rebate going back into your account, usually within 24 hours.
Concession fees will only be considered if Pension or Health Care Card is valid.

Gold DVA card holders are required to bring your card to your appointment, as the account will be covered by DVA.  White DVA cardholders must also bring your card as you may also be covered, depending on the medical conditions for which the appointment is made.

This practice charges private fees and does not bulk bill.  Our consultants charge a gap fee (patient out of pocket) for procedures and operations.  This gap is required to be paid prior to your admission.
